The world through my eyes
From America's greatest poet,
Walt Whitman:
Strange but true
this paradox I give
objects gross and the unseen soul are
one.
My own thoughts:
Earth is an
unendingly plastic expression created by this soft gray matter for the
clattering tongue, the roving eye and the body divine.
Perception remembers the work of art
and reasons the earth a masterpiece
a beautiful ornament of the mind of
man
discovered by grace in the book of
lost worlds
